#FollowFriday - @Braindouche: Audio Mad Scientist
One thing I've never understood is following a bunch of people just... like... you. When I cast a tweet into the Grand Canyon of the Internet I don't just want an echo back. So I follow people like Mer.
While I enjoy what she does with her podcast and she's a talented web designer, when it comes to why I follow her on Twitter it gets down to her honesty. If I tweet something that's complete bollocks, she calls me on it. She's also not afraid to tweet what she's thinking regardless of how unpopular the opinion might be.
She also has an absolutely absurd sense of humor and is an extreme geek. From me that's a compliment. So if you find any of that appealing, you should totally follow Mer. If you don't, well maybe you should follow her anyway. Different is good.
