Why we're all here...
The Nifty Tech Blog was created because of the gap between when I discovered new tech, and when the world around me starts paying attention to it.  And because conventional tech journalists, pundits, and experts kept focusing their analysis upon their own needs and missing some of the potential great uses of the tech they were reviewing.  I created The Nifty Tech Blog to share my view of how tech can make our lives easier and more productive, and because I wanted a place to record my thoughts while I was still excited about the new possibilities, so that when my friends were ready for it, they could find and share in my discoveries.

The Nifty Tech Blog is all about sharing the tech and tricks that make our modern lives easier, cooler, and more productive.  It doesn’t have to be the latest thing to be Nifty, just useful!  Sometimes it takes a while to figure out how nifty a piece of tech is.

So it is my mission to share the bits of Nifty Tech Hardware and Software that I find with you, the reader.  And I hope you’ll participate, too, by writing me and recommending the bits of Nifty Tech that you’ve found in your lives.
