#FollowFriday - @planetx: Uber-geek and Creative Beast

Today's Follow Friday recommendation is Jared Axelrod. His profile says that he's an inventor, an innovator, and a world changer. When you read someone's profile you can never be entirely certain that they are what they say they are. I can say that in Jared's case he is.

You can find his work or links to his work at his site. There you'll find projects past and present, everything from costumes to podcasts. The most interesting thing he's done to date, that I'm aware of, is Fables of the Flying City. It's a podcast story, read by Jared, that will culminate in a graphic novel. I highly recommend it.

So why should you follow Jared? He doesn't tweet very often, but when he does it always worthwhile. It may be about his latest creation or something his lovely wife has done. It may be a cool picture or bit of information he's found while cruising the internet (you should also read his tumblr blog). Or it could just be an interesting observation about life, the universe, or a good glass of wine.

So, give him a follow and have a great weekend!

Jared is also a very entertaining interview, to which I can personally attest :) - http://gowmainframe.blogspot.com/2010/07/gowm-episode-4-interview-with-jared.html

I also follow him and his wife on Twitter, and I wholeheartedly concur with Doc on this one. :)

Actually, this was Scott's pick. I follow Jared, but I haven't ever converses with him enough to pick him before now.
